Middleware Associates was founded in January, 2004, as an enterprise security consulting firm specializing in middleware integration of enterprise access control systems to HR databases and other applications.
In late 2004, Middleware Associates signed on with HID Corporation as the first software development partner (networked access control partner) for the HID Edge IP Reader. At the ASIS show in 2005 in Orlando, Middleware Associates presented the first Edge reader under the pre-launch name Proviso-IP. Since 2005, Middleware Associates has sold hundreds of software licenses, and HID has experienced tremendous growth with EDGE, naming it one of its fastest growing products.
In addition to developing software, Middleware Associates assists large corporations in the specification development, planning and project management of large scale security integration and migration projects, most notably migrating legacy access control systems over to next generation systems and web services.
Middleware Associates, LLC is a privately owned company registered in the State of Florida. Patrick Conners is the founder and president.
